Brad graduated in 1976 with a bachelors degree in Business Management, majoring
in Finance and Marketing. Upon graduation, he was hired by SUMMA CORPORATION
(Howard Hughes) as the Sales Manager and ultimately the Assistant Hotel Manager
of the Frontier Hotel, Las Vegas, NV (with responsibilities including all
physical operations of the Hotel with the exception of the casino, food and
beverage and engineering departments). After several years in hotel management,
he entered the field of shopping center management and since that time has
managed, leased and redeveloped numerous retail properties ranging in size from
strip centers, community centers and a regional mall. These properties include a
200,000 square foot shopping center in Westlake Village, CA (The North Ranch Mall);
a 215,000 square foot shopping center in San Diego, CA (Point Loma Plaza); a
500,000+ square foot regional mall in Layton, UT (The Layton Hills Mall), a
190,00 square foot center in Phoenix, AZ (Uptown Plaza), just to name a few.
Brad's experience and talents have been used in a number of challenging
turn-around property situations with a high degree of success.
Robert F. Welanetz, SCSM, formerly Vice President of Management and Leasing for the Hahn Company and currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Jones Lang LaSalle Retail Division which currently consists of a portfolio of 55 regional shopping centers totalling 400 million square feet, has this to say regarding Brad: "In all of our dealings with Mr. Clark, we found him to be completely trustworthy, extremely diligent, as well as
enthusiastic about his job. Brad has an outstanding work ethic as evidenced by his willingness to spend whatever time necessary to complete a task. He also
takes an extraordinary amount of pride in his work. His appointment to the project ended as a result of a sale of the property to someone with in-house capabilities. Should
the right opportunity resurface...there wouldn't be any hesitation to rehire Brad Clark. Any firm would be luck to have his services. Please feel free to contact me with any questions
regarding Mr. Clark. I would be only pleased to comment on his extensive capabilities."
